Amber Orano is a 13 year old singer/musician and student of the Parkinson Memorial School. Amber started singing at the age of 4 years old, winning the hearts of many as she ably delivered songs chosen on her mother's kareoke machine
Amber's first major appearance was at the NIFCA finals as a member of her school band performing a cover of Queen Ifrica called Lioness on the Rise. Much to the delight of the adoring crowd Amber received a standign ovation for her performance and sparked a fire for performance and music in her soul. This perfomance earned Amber and the school band a bronze medal for their performance.
She continued to perform as a keyboardist and vocalist with the school band at several shows across the island of Barbados. Under the guidance of her music teachers Sheldon Hope and Randy Eastmond, Amber made it to the finals of the 1st Interschool singing competition and placed 5th. In 2011 Amber developed further as an entertainer and started to work on her first single Fussing and Fighting, a reggae number which speaks to the rise in violence seen across the world. Her strong lyrics appeal to persons to find peace within themselves and find the common good in humanity. This debut single was written by Amber, co-written by John King and Produced by Randy Eastmond at Quantum Productions. Amber has decided to take music as her career and is continuing to write and record more tracks. Amber Orano will be launching her debut music video for Fussing and Fighting in November 2011.
