Premier Barbados Hotel Bridges Hospitality With Entertainment

By Charlene Bowden - Entertainment & Travel Correspondent

Nestled along the southwest coast in Barbados with white sandy beaches and immaculate landscape, Coral Mist Beach Hotel and Blue Orchids Beach Hotel are a paradise within paradise. Each room has island-style decor along with an added amenity of tropical breezes and the sound of the Caribbean waves uniquely designed daily by nature.

Both properties offer studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments, including deluxe rooms, suites and penthouse suites. All rooms have LCD flat screen tv's with cable, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchens, private bathrooms and private patios/balconies. Daily maid service is also available.

Coral Mist and Blue Orchids are conveniently located 7 miles from the airport, 5 miles from the city of Bridgetown and within walking distance of supermarkets, banks, restaurants and shopping centers.

General Manager Ansar Juman made investments in the mental and physical health and well-being of his guests by including fresh water pools, fitness centers, handicapped accessible rooms, elevators and safety deposit boxes at each facility. Other features include water sports, an on-site restaurant, wireless Internet, a novelty shop, lounge chairs, a games room, business center and for golf enthusiasts, they are associates with the Barbados Golf Club.

The staff of Coral Mist and Blue Orchids are conscientious, caring and courteous whether it be the grounds men who maintain the inviting landscape as though it were their own, the reception and other administrative office staff or the security officers who passionately enforce the rules and ensure a safe environment, contributing to everyone having a pleasant memory of their visit. Coral Mist Beach Hotel and Blue Orchids Beach Hotel are the official hotels of the Barbados Artist Reciprocation Program, a program that encourages performance, music video and recording collaborations between independent artists from the US and artists from other countries. The program launch was held in February, 2010.

Coral Mist hosted California female hip-hop artist Keldamuzik who collaborated with the 2009 Barbados Music Award winner for Video of the Year, Performing Artist/Actor/Producer, Kirk Brown and Strategy the Band. Also in attendance was Charlene Bowden, Entertainment and Hospitality Correspondent Caribbean Voice Radio and President/CEO of CSB Management Group in Atlanta , GA , who was hosted by Blue Orchids.
